In 1981, Ned Santerian enlisted fifty of Philadelphia’s most influential leaders to promote our Armenian identity and culture, founding what we all know today as PAND. The Philadelphia Armenian Nor Daree event united Armenians from all parts of the country - particularly the East Coast and regardless of political or religious beliefs - to enjoy Armenian music and fellowship. PAND has built an unbreakable camaraderie in the Philadelphia community that has spanned generations.
After a brief hiatus, a new generation of leaders are revitalizing PAND with New Year’s Eve! This year’s event promises to stay true to its roots by hosting an exceptional evening for the whole family in true “Philly Kef Style!”
As the oldest and most unified Armenian New Year's Eve event on the east coast, PAND would like to thank the Philadelphia community and surrounding areas for its participation over the years. Your commitment has helped PAND donate over $80,000 to each of the five Philadelphia Armenian Churches and over $400,000 to our community since its inception in 1981.
You can continue to help secure a bright future for our community by joining us this year for an unforgettable evening. And if you can’t attend, please consider making a donation. Your gift helps continue PAND’s legacy of creating multi-generation friendships and uniting and unifying Armenians.
